–A fundraising meal to benefit the Kossuth County CARE Team will be held Wednesday evening at the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Algona. Mick Schlievert is helping to organize the meal, and he tells KLGA News they had a great turnout last year, and they wanted to host it again to try and assist the CARE Team.
Schlievert says they will be serving pork loin sandwiches along with a side and a dessert, all for a free will donation.
Schlievert says they can take care of your dinner needs whether you have time to sit down or are on the go.
The meal will be held from 5-7 PM at the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 315 S. Moore Street in Algona, with 100% of the proceeds going to the CARE Team.
